SR. SALESFORCE PM

  • Type: FTE role, in office
  • Location: Mississauga – 5 days/week ion-site
  • Start: ASAP

Requirements

  • 8+ years of overall project management experience (with some type of Digital Transformation Project experience)
  • Really strong techno-functional background
  • Consulting experience
  • Digital/E-commerce/Web Portals/Mobile Applications experience is key
  • 3 + years of Salesforce experience in addition to digital expertise
  • Emphasis on revolutionary technology and industry specific technology
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Focus on digital innovation and collaboration
  • Understanding of technology’s role, especially in the digital space
  • Role involves hands-on work with potential future team – leadership responsibilities
  • Not a people manager position initially, but potential for growth in the future
  • PM Or Scrum Master certifications strongly desired
  • Experienced with technology PMO, reports, budgeting, monitoring, consulting 
  • Strong communication is a must, including leadership, collaboration & ability to influence & motivate others
  • BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or Business Management or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • Proficient in project management practices, a highly effective communicator and experienced in dealing with managing multiple complex projects concurrently.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise applications including ERP, Supply Chain, Manufacturing,  Salesforce Sales cloud/Service Cloud, Enterprise Content Management and Collaboration, Financial/Corporate Performance Management, BI & Analytics, B2B and B2C E-commerce, Web / Digital Marketing platforms, Portals, Social and Mobile Applications. 
  • Experienced with the use of PPM tools, such as Planview.
  • Experienced with managing deployments of externally procured solutions, or development through the deployment of in-house built solutions.
  • Working project experience in global companies across various time zones.
  • Open to about 15% travel, within North America and Europe
  • Industrial Manufacturing, Building Supply sector experience an asset but not required

Day to Day:
This person will be managing the salesforce & digital transformation projects – working with bigger teams on projects (25+) and there’s going to be a lot of technical design required to plan and execute the projects and be responsible for deliverables. We are seeking someone who is focused on building this project and can manage multiple projects. This person also will be assisting with mentoring and coaching others.  The Sr. Salesforce Project Manager role will lead & directly run multiple key initiatives within the Global IT group.

  • Planning, executing and controlling all project management activities including scope management, requirements management, coordinating technical design and development teams, testing, communication management, issue/ risk management, budget and resource management.
  • Provide leadership in PM processes and best practices to IT team members.
  • Ensures information and operational issues concerning project status(schedules, deliverables, costs, risks, issues) passes to-and-from stake holders, project team, and management.
  • Own complete project life cycle from definition to completion including deploying sustainable support models.
  • Demonstrate an excellent ability to communicate, lead and influence teams that do not directly report to PM
  • Potential for international travel (15% travel)
