Summary:
As a Data Scientist within our Data and Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in serving the entire organization’s data science, extraction, engineering, and visualization needs. You’ll be responsible for leveraging your expertise in data science methodologies and tools to analyze complex datasets, derive actionable insights, and develop predictive models to drive business decisions. Additionally, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient data extraction processes, and present to business stakeholders as needed.
Requirements:

5+ years proven work experience in Data Science

Demonstrated ability to utilize Python for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling tasks.

Proven expertise in writing SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from relational databases.

Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, deliverables, and timelines while effectively communicating insights and findings through compelling presentations.

Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data engineering pipelines using Kafka for real-time data processing, Airflow for workflow orchestration, and Azure Synapse for big data analytics.

Knowledge of cloud-based data lake architectures and experience in utilizing Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for storing and managing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

Ability to create visually appealing and insightful dashboards and reports using PowerBI to communicate key findings and trends to stakeholders effectively.

Proficiency in delivering clear and engaging presentations to effectively communicate insights and findings.

Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic team environment and adjust to changing project requirements.

Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of analyzing complex problems and developing effective solutions.

Familiarity with machine learning algorithms, model training, evaluation, and deployment processes, and their integration into production systems.

Previous experience or knowledge of specific industry domains, understanding of domain-specific data challenges and requirements, and ability to tailor data solutions accordingly.
