Position Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Role Overview:
The Senior DevOps Engineer is a key position responsible for driving the establishment and enhancement of application systems and programs, working in close collaboration with the Technology team. The primary goal of this role is to lead systems analysis and application programming activities, ensuring effective deployment of new features and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various management teams to ensure seamless integration of functions, aligning them with organizational goals, and identifying the need for system upgrades to introduce new products or optimize existing processes.
- Tackle complex, high-impact challenges by evaluating business and system processes, as well as industry standards.
- Provide specialized knowledge and advanced expertise in application programming, ensuring that design choices align with the overall architectural framework.
- Leverage advanced understanding of system workflows to develop best practices for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of business areas such as architecture and infrastructure, and how they integrate to achieve organizational objectives.
- Conduct thorough analysis, applying creative thinking to identify issues and devise innovative solutions.
- Serve as a mentor or advisor to mid-level developers and analysts, and manage work distribution where needed.
- Assess risks appropriately when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the organization’s reputation, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, ethical standards, and internal policies.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in application development or systems analysis
- Proven experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar roles in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
- Expertise in scripting and automation languages such as Python, Shell, Bash, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
- Strong understanding of version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong background in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Proven experience in successfully managing and implementing projects.
- Expert in at least one area of application development.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and changing circumstances.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
