Role Summary
The Vice President, Finance will be a strategic partner to executive leadership, leading financial planning, operations, and global expansion. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in finance, with an emphasis on optimizing processes, driving automation, and supporting business growth in both manufacturing and software sectors.
Key Responsibilities
– Financial Leadership: Lead all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, aligning with strategic business objectives.
– Global Operations: Oversee financial operations across international locations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and driving expansion initiatives.
– Process Automation: Enhance efficiency by driving financial process automation, leveraging ERP systems to streamline operations.
– Inventory Management: Implement and oversee inventory control measures, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for manufacturing operations.
– Reporting & Analysis: Provide timely, accurate financial reporting to guide strategic decision-making.
– Team Development: Lead and mentor a finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
– Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with leadership to identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities, including potential acquisitions.
– Client Engagement: Engage in occasional client interactions and attend industry events to support business growth.
Qualifications
– Experience: 10+ years of experience in finance leadership, with expertise in manufacturing and/or software industries.
– Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and experience in financial automation.
– Credentials: CPA or CFA designation.
– Leadership Ability: Proven success in leading and motivating teams, fostering innovation, and driving organizational change.
– Strategic Perspective: Strong capability to align financial operations with business strategy and growth initiatives.
