OIC Sr. Consultant (Oracle Integration Cloud)
Contract: 12 months to start, extendable (36 month long engagement)
Location: Fully remote located anywhere in Canada, however strong preference for candidates within Quebec
Travel: Not anticipated, but if onsite presence is requested, it would be requested at a minimum of 5 business days prior (paid travel)
Languages Required: French & English; professional proficiency (French must be very strong/fluent, and English can be a second language)

Certification: Certified Architect Professional certification
Responsibilities/ Day-to-Day Work
- Analyze Quebec City’s target OCI architecture.
- Ensure harmonization with the Azure cloud architecture (eventually, the Azure cloud environment will host the majority of the City’s assets).
- Analyze the elements to be put in place to facilitate interrelationships between the OCI cloud environment and the Azure cloud environment, as well as with on-premises infrastructures.
- Support the internal team in setting up an OCI cloud environment based on market best practices and recommendations, including security and governance.
- Participate and support the project team in the migration of applications and databases to OCI, including preparatory work to securely isolate identified applications and databases.
- Contribute to the implementation of the OCI governance framework.
- Carry out expertise transfer activities to enable the internal team to master the work performed and ensure optimal management of the environment.
- Write and update documents supporting the OCI environment, and ensure that the internal team understands them (architectural, operational, governance and other documents that may be requested).

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or any other combination of university education or minimum 10 years’ experience judged equivalent could be considered.
- 4 + years’ experience as an expert in the architecture and implementation of OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) cloud environments.
- Two relevant practical experiences in cloud computing in OCI environments.
- Have participated in at least one project involving the implementation of an OCI platform supporting an Oracle Forms and Reports application (middleware).
- Certified Architect Professional certification
