Senior Full Stack Developer

Location: Hybrid (onsite downtown 1 day/week)
Contract length: 1 year

Hours: 37.5/week
The consultant will be responsible for developing applications using Angular on the Frontend, Microservices deployed into PaaS, OpenShift and Kubernetes on the Backend.
The key focus experience needed here is Full Stack Development, but experience with DevOps and familiarity with Azure DevOps is a plus. This role is for an experienced Consultant who can give a bit of pushback and put forward ideas of their own, from their years of experience and wisdom, in a respectful and tactful way.
Required Skills

Experience developing user interfaces with Angular 4-9 and Angular Material

Strong Java development skills, particularly REST services under Spring Boot

Solid understanding of microservice design and orchestration

Familiar with security concepts including Kerberos, JWT, AD, CORS, CSRF

Familiar with OpenShift/Kubernetes, and Docker containerization

Experienced with both SQL databases and NoSQL databases like Mongo DB

Experienced with DevOps tools including Git, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, Nexus, Swagger
- Familiar with Agile processes governed with the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence)

Strong team player able to interact effectively with both business and technical members of the team, and mentor junior developers

Comfortable configuring and deploying to a Linux environment

Exposure to public cloud deployments such as Azure or AWS would be beneficial

Exposure to the financial industry, particularly AML and fraud prevention would be a significant asset
