Five9 Platform Engineer
- Start Date: Mid November 2023
- Location: GTA & Vancouver
- Time Zones: Work in EDT if in GTA, & PDT if in Vancouver
- Hybrid: 1-2 days in office; based on project needs & highly flexible (may offer full remote as an option)
- Travel: Up to 30% paid travel; based on client/project needs & flex
- Certifications: Five9 VCC and/or Five9 Studio certifications
- Experience: Intermediate-Senior (5+ years)

Our client is a leading global consulting firm, and they are seeking a Five9 Platform Engineer to join their growing team for a contract role, for a 6month extendable contract. The ideal candidate will be experienced in contact center implementations with a solid understanding of contact center process and operations, to help develop meaningful solutions.
Required Skills
- Contact Centre implementation experience using Five9
- Five9 VCC and/or Five9 Studio certified engineer
- Minimum 5 years of contact centre implementation experience
- Expertise in configuring contact flows, routing strategy, custom scripting, API integrations, desktop and 3rd party app integrations
- Good understanding of contact centre process and operations to help develop solutions that are meaningful for our clients
- Comfortable in presenting solution designs and demoing protypes of solutions developed
- Experience with TCP/IP networking, SIP, RTP, and other telephony protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills
- Well versed with Conversational AI solutions such as Lex, Dialogflow
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- API software development skills with experience using RESTful/SOAP web services
- Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Java, Python, PHP
- Relational database experience highly desirable
- Genesys Cloud, NICE, InContact and Talkdesk
