Role Overview:
Our client, a pioneer in the digital health field is looking for a Delivery Lead to join their team on a contract basis, with the opportunity to go full-time. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective and timely delivery of the clients system into a large health oganization, managing all aspects of the implementation lifecycle. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of healthcare technology, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage complex projects in a highly regulated environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, and project sponsors to ensure the solution is deployed efficiently, with high quality, and meets all organizational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the system implementation, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Ontario Health and internal teams to define clear project goals, expectations, and deliverables.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project scope, cost, and timeline.
  • Develop and execute a detailed implementation plan, coordinating resources, managing dependencies, and ensuring all deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, ensuring alignment, clear communication, and efficient execution of project tasks.
  • Ensure that the system meets all functional, security, and regulatory requirements before going live, overseeing testing and validation processes.
  • Drive post-implementation reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure lessons learned are applied to future projects.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior leadership, stakeholders, and other relevant parties, highlighting key achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Technology) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or delivery leadership, preferably within the healthcare or technology sector.
  • Strong background in systems implementation,  large-scale digital health solutions is a plus
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards (e.g., privacy laws, data security).
  • Skills:
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate complex environments.
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working within healthcare system or public sector implementations.
    • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master).
