Overview:

  • Support with identification of Critical Data Elements and maintenance of up-to-date inventory in alignment with Enterprise standards
  • Proficient in development, review and update of Business Glossaries and Data Dictionaries
  • Understand and manage documentation for changes to critical data elements (e.g. addition, subtraction or modifications to data elements, terms or definitions)
  • Understanding of Data Governance controls i.e design and implementation. This will entail (establishing controls for those data management processes within the business that involve critical data elements (e.g. periodic reviews, approvals, etc.)
  • Familiar with data quality rules, data lineage and data adjustments
  • Perform data quality checks in alignment with enterprise standards and collate identified issues for escalation

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience working in Data Governance preferably within a large Financial Institution. 

Preferred Skills:

  • It’s an asset if you have banking experience in Fraud/ Info Sec./ Fusion / AML areas (experience in any of these domains would be valuable, given the uniqueness of the taxonomy)
