Our client, a pioneer in the digital healthcare space is seeking a Project Manager to join on a contract to hire basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing assigned customer implementations for the Health Care industry. The role ensures that project milestones, deliverables, deadlines, and budgets are met while delivering exceptional service. The Project Manager will oversee the project team, track project hours, and ensure proper billing through systems like Netsuite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer implementations or internal projects, ensuring the project plan is properly established and followed throughout the lifecycle.
- Meet project goals within budget and on time, and proactively communicate project timelines, milestones, and any changes to all stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with customers or internal sponsors to ensure satisfaction.
- Coordinate a smooth handoff between sales, implementation, and post-project teams (Customer Success and Support).
- Define and allocate resources (internal and external), ensuring the project team is well-equipped for success.
- Track and report all working hours in the project management system, ensuring accuracy for invoicing and billable hours.
- Provide regular status updates on project progress, budget, and deliverables.
- Handle scope, cost, or schedule changes by submitting change requests and adjusting project plans accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and confidentiality policies.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Science, Business, Health Administration, a healthcare profession, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing medium to large-scale IT projects, with proven success in delivering on time, within budget, and meeting goals.
- Strong understanding of both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Solid knowledge of IT systems, database management, and related technologies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in tools like G Suite, Hubspot, Confluence, SmartSheet, and Lucidchart.
