Job Description
Our Financial client is currently looking for a Lead Android Developer for a contract or contract to hire position. The ideal candidate will have strong and thorough knowledge of Android application development.
* At least 6 or 7 years of Android development with technical lead experience
* Key technology stack: Java, Kotlin, *(KMP nice to have) XML, JetPack Compose, Android Studio, Unit test.
* Experienced with build processes and demonstrated clear understanding of continuous integration, version control, automated testing and the complete mobile development life cycle, including publishing to the play store.
* Ability to mentor junior developers in the team.
* Technical expertise to maintain and improve the code quality.
* Understand various mobile design patterns.
* Capable of managing multiple projects with varying priorities.
* Strong troubleshooting skills. Experience in analysis of production issues is an asset.
* Optional: Banking domain knowledge.
* Candidate will spend at least 70 to 80% in hands on coding. and also supporting junior coders
