Senior Business Systems Analyst

  • Type: Fully Remote Contract

  • Location: Anywhere in Canada; working in EST

  • Duration: 6 months to start (+ potential for extension)

The company is dedicated to helping individuals and businesses achieve financial security and wellness through tailored financial products and advisory services.
 

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a strong background in Canadian securities for an exciting project in the Investment Dealer space. This is a 6-month contract opportunity to join a dynamic team with one of our highly sought after clients, working on a new Investment Dealer Launch initiative. The project is already underway, and we need a professional who can hit the ground running, bringing valuable expertise and productivity from day one.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the team to support the Investment Dealer initiative, ensuring that all aspects of Canadian securities, including stocks, mutual funds, and ETFs, are appropriately addressed.

  • Apply your deep knowledge of IIROC/MFDA regulations to guide the project's success.

  • Effectively translate and document complex conversations and requirements into clear and actionable Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Business Processes, and Workflows.

  • Actively lead or contribute to discussions, taking initiative and driving progress independently when necessary to meet tight deadlines.
     

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in Canadian securities, including stocks, mutual funds, and ETFs, with a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks such as IIROC and MFDA.

  • Proven ability to decipher complex requirements and translate them into meaningful documentation that supports the project's business and technical goals.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, taking ownership of tasks and ensuring project milestones are met.
     

Additional Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro to facilitate collaboration and workflow management.
