POSITION PROFILE
Job title: Senior Manager, Shared Services Canada
Division: Finance
Immediate superior: Vice-President, Corporate Controller
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Vice-President, Corporate Controller, the Senior Manager, Shared Services will supervise, support and direct the Canadian Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams (Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
– Optimize and review processes, making recommendations to improve efficiency
– Establish and/or maintain policies and procedures based on best practices
– Develop and maintain relevant key performance indicators for performance monitoring and evaluation
– Oversee the quality of financial information related to shared services;
– Continuously improve the organization of work within shared services teams.
– Prepare cash flow budgets based on cash inflows and outflows by currency;
– Act as a point of contact for internal partners (including international offices) for all complex issues.
– Play a key role in the integration of shared services following acquisitions;
– Keep abreast of changes in regulations, practices, tax laws, reporting requirements and industry trends.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Academic background: DEC in administrative technology, accounting technology or other training deemed equivalent;
Experience: Minimum 10 years' experience supervising accounts payable and accounts receivable.
